Chinise Government Addresses Racism

Chinese government has responded to the claims of mistreatment of African foreigners in the country at the Province of Guangzhou.
Zhao Lijian the Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson stated that all foreigners are being treated equally and that they have zero tolerance to discrimination.
His sentiments are after African foreigners in Guangzhou complained that they were forcefully evicted from their apartments, being discriminated from using shopping malls and even being forced to be tested for coronavirus.
The Chinese government also said that all measures are being put in place to ensure all people are treated equally. In addition he said that all the African patients who got infected have been treated since the outbreak. Among those measures include provision of health services without discrimination, setting aside of hotels for foreigners under medical observation and price adjustment for those in a financial crisis.

The Chinese government further stated that Chinese people view Africans as brothers and sisters.
